President Barack Obama skördade en stor framgång när hans sjukvårdsreform antogs i representanthuset.
Och han hyllade beslutet i representanthuset som "historiskt" och sade att han var övertygad om att även senaten kommer att anta sin version av förslaget...
Så får man då hoppas att han rider hela saken i hamn,...

1,990-page, $1.2 trillion legislation. That is $1,2 trillion the government do not have. So there will be more new taxes. And how will pay the taxes. Not the rich, but the poor and middle class. Now is that a good bill?

The 220-215 vote. Is that a big victory 220 yes and 215 no? Half the country does not like this bill. The politicians in the US are as stupid as in Sweden, but the different is that we can elect them out of office and you cannot. Watch out, next year, you will se that a lot of them will lose their jobs in Washington.
In the bill's most controversial provision, the government would sell insurance, although the Congressional Budget Office forecasts that premiums for it would be more expensive than for policies sold by private firms. Is this not stupid?
Both consumers and companies would be slapped with penalties if they defied the government's mandates. If you do not have a job and do not have any money to buy the government insurance, you have to pay a fine. Are you going to eat or pay the fine? Do you know how much insurance cost here in the US? Probably not! For a family of four and you live in California, you will pay around $ 500 per month! So what did you do before? If it was an emergency, and you did not have insurance, you just went to be hospital and they HAVE to take you by Federal Law. Then the hospital tries to get the money out of you later. If you did not have any money, they will just right it off.
Why is insurance so expensive. Do you know that? Probably not! The lawyers sue the doctors for everything and get millions of dollars in compensation. That is why the insurance is so expensive; it is not the health care but the lawyers that are taking the money! The doctors give you all kinds of tests to protect him self against lawsuits. So if you only need one test, the doctor will give you 8 tests, every test cost money. Does the Obama bill put a cap on lawsuits, NOT!!! Why? Obama and the Democrats got millions of dollars in campaign contributions from the lawyers! I hope you are smart and can figure that one out! Does the Obama bill stop the extra tests? NOT!!!! To see a doctor is around $ 150.
The bill will cover up to 36 million uninsured, 96 percent of the population will be insured. What happened with the last 4%? Nobody will tell you that there are over 270 million that have insurance. (2009 - 307 plus million people in the USA). That is $1,2 trillion : 36 million = $ 33.333 per person over 10 years.
Do you know that 15-20 million illegal aliens will also get government-sponsored health care? They do not pay any taxes! Is that a good bill?
Did you know that we have a shortage of doctors? Everybody will not be able to see a doctor. Did you know that a doctor could refuse new patience? Did you know that the doctor only get around 40% paid by the government if he sees a person with government insurance? Did you know that private insurance would increase next year around 10 – 15%? Now, you are not paying $500, you paying almost $600. Cost of living is up over 10% the last year. Companies will not pay any pay raises next year. Yes, many employers will pay your health insurance, but know they will make you pay a part so, no pay raise and less money to live on. Is this a good bill?
I know several small businesses that will lay people off and downsize and not hire any more employees. Is that a good bill?
So now you know more then the ‘political correct, political controlled and corrupt Swedish media will tell you. So, next time try to read up on the issues and do not just jump to conclusion of what is printed in the Swedish media. After reading the Swedish on-line papers - the Swedes look stupid! All the facts are not there!

USA är verkligen i behov att förändringar. Man kan inte tro det, men de skulle behöva förändra en rad många lagar inom det landet och införa reformer. Ni förstör inte bara för er själva annars, utan hela världen!
Fakta eller inte min vänn, men du sitter inte på fakta, du sitter på en massa propaganda som någon har matat in i dig så att de passar din åsikt att "sköt dig själv och skit i andra och omvärlden" attityden kan förstärkas. Mycket egocentriskt. Så gör inte de flesta länderna längre, som är civiliserade. Detta förekommer ofta endast i länder som diktatoriska och väldigt strängt kommunistiska. Och där platsar tyvärr USA på en av de högst rankade i världen.
Du har ingen koll min vänn på något, mer än vad din egna lilla värld tycks se ut som.

Nej, det är inte en bra kompromiss som nu halas genom senaten, alltför många avkall har fått göras på saker som verkligen hade kunnat göra situationen bättre för de mindre bemedlade (vad hände med single-payer _FÖR_ALLA_?). Tyvärr tror fortfarande hela glada GOP att himlen trillar ner och detta innebär statssponsad socialist-kommunist-nazist-ateism. Den inhemska politiska diskursen i USA är det dummaste den här sidan Paradise Hotel.
I've been living in US most of my life and love this country. However, I think the health insurance situation in US is terrible and badly needs to be reformed. Obama has my full support to get this healthcare reform succeed.
I used to respect republican party, but the way they have been fighting against Obamas healthcare reform when 50 million Americans have no healthcare insurance makes me recent that party.
But now, thank God, it seems like even Americans soon will have the right to health care.
Jag tror inte många vet vad ens reformen innebär.

Oinitierad propaganda från Obama och kongressen dominerar opposition. New York Times och Nation Public Radio och mycket av resten av media presenterar inte några som helst sakliga motargument. Enstaka kritiker möts av fientliga attityder och förkastas som extrema högersnubbar.
Dessutom hålls direkta rallys av Obama och kongressen.
Det nuvarande förslaget rör inte på de 2 punkter som dominerar kostnaden av den amerikanska sjukvården. Sjukvården är en advokaternas guldgruva. Som sagts tidigare. Sjukvård praktiseras med tanke på försvar mot laglig ansvarighet, 8 test istället för 1.
Kom in med en skrapa på knät och det blir test som MRI....etc.
Den punkten är att försäkringsbolagen behandlas under anti trust lag. Det finns ingen
konkurrens mellan de olika staterna. Priserna skulle gå ner väsentligt om detta skedde.
Den ersättning som betalas av medicaid och medicare är så låg att många läkare nu inte accepterar patienter som inte har någon annan försäkring. Obamas förslag är att ytterliggare minska ersättningarna med 21%. Så även om en person har nu får försäkring så blir han eller hon hänvisad till de läkare har så få patienter att de känner det nödvändigt att arbeta för mycket läggre lön. Det kommmer också att bli restriktioner vilken bahandling som kan staten betalar för.
Det förefaller troligt att även försäkringsbolagen kommer att följa statens riktlinjer och förneka vissa procedurer.
Vad USA är på väg mot är 2 nivåer av sjukvård en bättre och en sämre.
Det statliga förslaget bygger på åsikten att den hälsovård som individen får bestäms av vilken grupp han tillhör, inte vilket sjukdomstillstånd han har.
Kongressen röstade just för sig själva första klassens sjukföräkring
för de nästa 5 åren.
Världen kommer att också att förlora beeroende på att all den uppfinningsrikedom inom den amerikanska sjukvården kommer att minska.
I förslaget ingår också att pengar ska tas från sjukvård och gå till en rad olika odefinierade av demokraternas petprojects.
